Nature Photo of the Day

Due to a number of circumstances, I’m just getting these images posted. In fact, this past Sunday I edited, sized and uploaded nearly 450 abandoned site photos. During this wander my kids, Brenna (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
persephone1313) and Chris explored a number of sites in and to the east of the cities I live and work in. During the following months badgerphone and I went on several exploring rampages around the Antelope Valley and Mojave. These explorations were some of the happiest and most creative I’ve ever gone on. More on those later...
Many places in the Antelope Valley have receded into nothing more then foundations and memories. One of the first places we found was the remains of the Jet Drive-In Theater.

Photo Sales

I now have a very solid source for photo print sales. In fact, I'm very pleased with the quality they've offered me.
Njall, Sandra had expressed an interest in one of the nature photos from several months ago (just before the move to points east). When i replied back 9several times) the e-mail bounced. Does she still want to purchase the nature photo she was interested in?
Monica, same goes for you! You'd asked this spring about buying several prints and we somewhat drifted apart. I didn't have a proven source then, but I do now.

Decisions and directions
Aug. 28th, 2007 03:00 pmI've come to something of a decision on posting and such. I probably should have done this much sooner, but I've been too distracted and too busy. Among various communities on Live Journal I'm associated with, I am the owner and moderator for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
desert_vision. Several months ago, I posted that the community seemed to be dead except for my posts. A number of people comented that they would post stuff there, but nothing new has come up.
Rather than killing the community, I'm going to put it to good use. As there have been problems with content, context, commentary and conduct on my personal journal;desert_vision is going to become my personal photo journal while jj_maccrimmon will be where I will post personal blog notes and photo highlights only. This change will go into effect on September 17th, 2007 unless situations change to convince me otherwise. This way I won't bury people wanting to be involved in my personal life with my photos and those who just want to see the photos won't have to deal with matters of drama in my personal life.
Desert_Vision will be set for approved posts only and membership may be opened up so that approval isn't required.
JJ_Maccrimmon will continue to be screened and maintained as is.
