I wandered around the local area back in early July, revisiting several older locations and found a few new ones. It always amazes me how many of these sites there are so close to a metro area home to nearly 7 million (Los Angeles basin). The growth of that metropolis is sadly also the reason many of these sites are disappearing here.
Avenue E Ruins

In a previous job, I worked regularly at Edwards AFB. Most days, my commute to work took me through some fair desolate territory in route to my job there. Ever so often, I’d notice these little gems of decay lying near the roads I’d drive in on.
( Returning to whence it came [11 Behind the cut] )
( Not for the squeamish [2 Behind the cut] )
