Oct. 28th, 2008 06:17 pmCare of my friend
kenderkin
---------------------------------------------
For those of you with little ghosts and goblins in your lives...
Don't eat the chocolate coin candies!
The little chocolate coins are not safe for kids to eat this Halloween.
With Halloween coming soon, pass this on to your family and friends.
Sherwood brand Pirate's Gold Milk Chocolate coins are being recalled due to the fact that they contain Melamine, the ingredient in milk product that has caused many infant deaths in China just recently. These candies are sold at Costco, as well as many bulk and dollar stores.
please make sure to check your childrens Halloween candy and DO NOT LET THEM EAT THE PIRATE COINS (you know the ones wrapped in the shiny gold foil) and please let other parents know about this!
It is true, Read the full story at the following link from
Snopes: http://www.snopes.com/food/warnings/coins.asp
PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS.
THIS IS TOO IMPORTANT NOT TO TAKE SERIOUSLY....

Abandoned Places – Huntsville – Oct 08
Oct. 28th, 2008 10:37 pmHistory still in the making
At the end of my previous post, I asked ” What does an 80 year old cotton mill and NASA have to do with each other? Huntsville is a city of contrasts. It was a center for the cotton industry for the first half of the 1900’s. In the second half of the 1900’s, Huntsville became the host to the developing US Space and Rocket program. Lincoln Mill was the bridge between the two eras.
