Greetings gang,

In a nice public post I just wanted to everyone know I hadn't fallen in the sea or down a mine shaft. With a few exceptions, I've been busily working on selecting and choosing photos for my Fright Night LA "artist of the month" gig. I've narrowed down the list to about 75 images from the last few years of abandoned places photography. The goal is to narrow the selections down to a mere 30 images.

I've sent off images to "QOOP" the company handles printing for Photobucket. I ordered sample batches of several (smaller) sized prints to check resolution levels. For most images, I can upload the image in large format and print up to an 8" x 12" high resolution pic. I'm likely going to pick 4 or 5 images I consider the very best and get them printed as poster sized prints. I'll back these on foam board and may put them in simple frames.

In general, I think the process is going well and things should be ready (at least the small prints for sure) in time for the show. I'll have a table and such available but an inteesting thought has crossed my mind. If I'm being the good business person and selling (I hope) my photos, who's going to be taking even photos that night?.. Conversely who could or would mind the booth?.. Curiouser and curiouser..

Schedules permitting, I could mind the booth for you.
