Huntsville Christmas Snow

It's a rare and remarkable thing to have substantial snows. While some of my friends would question 3 inches of snow as being significant, its substantial for here (where they don't know how to drive or deal with it). While it warmed up a bit and melted down for a few hours yesterday, enough remained on the ground to make it otherworldly here this morning. We were supposed to get out of town and visit Tammy's family south of Birmingham, but snow showers here made to roads icy and extremely slick.

Seriously, we stopped on the side of the road not far from our house, just so I could fall back into a two foot deep snow drift. It was awesome.
