Show Photos: Daikaiju at the Flying Monkey - 16 July

As I'mentioned, I've been a bit busy, but I've managed to get out here and there for breaks in unpacking and recovering. One ot those was last week, when at the recommendation of a nice 40 year old transplant from California, I went to hear Daikaiju (http://www.myspace.com/daikaiju) at the Flying Monkey. After a lengthy delay for the openning band to get there and get set, these guys came out and let loose. I'm putting the slide show up front and a select group of photos from the show.

Not a word was sung, the light laid low and the energy was tremendous. These guys could play in LA with ease based on the material and the poise they displayed.

Nifty. I'm going to be out of town next week, visiting family, but after that I really need to get out of the house more when I am here in town...I keep missing good stuff.
