Yes, that was taken in March of last year. Do understand that Descanso Gardens in La Canada / Flintridge, CA is usually mild weather-wise year round. The Camillias are usually in full bloom from Feb to late April.
my mother in law's camilla in Charlotte NC bloom all winter too...and I got a bunch of alpine bulbs that will be blooming next month if it stays this mild...
