Hopefully everyone in the US had a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday weekend and avoided the post-holiday shopping madness.

I had a lovely thanksgiving, as I hope yours was, and I did not avoid the shopping maddness. I had never experienced black friday, or really any holiday shopping before (I'd always already completed it), and decided to venture out with my sister this year. To my surprise, it was actually rather nice.
