I'm heading out to southern California and points familiar tomorrow. Tomorrow's photo may be a bit delayed.

I also expect to have a bit more time with a few less distractions to actually write something substantial here. I know I've been bad about it.

Hi. I do not quite know how your email landed in my mailbox but maybe it was thru SoCal Abandoned places? Anyways - I am very glad it did ... you take some nice photos and that's something I am just getting into and teaching myself with Canon 60D.

If I am not mistaken, I noticed that you were leaving for SoCal -- that's where I live (Los Angeles now but used to live in Palm Springs) If it works out this trip or another time there's some awesome unknown / hidden springs and water falls I could show you in Palm Springs. Hi Marc,

I moderate SoCal Abandoned and Abandonedplaces and just sent out a bot warning to the SoCal list.

I am indeed in SoCal and will be on and off for the next month or so (depending on customer needs). Palm Springs might be a bit far as I'm actually staying in the Camarillo area. Depending on schedule and my available time, I'm up for exploring, but it's likely going to need to be in a bit closer. I will say, I'm already planning a (re)visit to the Scary Dairy and the Wheel Inn out this way while I'm in the region.

They are slowly getting better. Although, I am feeling pretty crappy today.
