DELTA AIRLINES SUCKS!
Jun. 2nd, 2009 10:54 pmI can officially say this without any hesitation. We got to the Atlanta Airport after a three hour drive an hour and a half before the departure time. The website says to be there 60 minutes prior. Spend 40 minutes waiting int he check-in line to send the kids to England...

The kids were not allowed to check-in! First told we couldn't check their bags.. then told they couldn't board the plane. The line of lies and deception by these arses are nothing less than stunning.
They told us we needed to be there 2 hours prior (contradicting their website and not in the ticket confirmation info). Though they did rebook the flights at no charge, the fact is we needed to drive ALL the way back to Huntsville to get my girlfriend back here for work tomorrow. Now I get to drive another 6 hours round trip to Atlanta to fricken do this again and lose another day of work. We're planning to leave at 9am (Central) tomorrow to get there plenty early and so I can locate the senior manager on duty.
I'm planning to call my employer to let them know that their prefered carrier pulls shit like this, and my girlfriend is doing likewise with her company. We've already filed a complaint. This is completely unacceptible!
